The Gibraltor is the modern take on a classic bike. This Devlin signature model is a base for anything from road race through to light gravel. The final use envelope for the frame is decided in the design process and the final equipment spec.
Bi-lam constructing of top and down tubes to a tapered head tube is a tip of the hat to the classic lugged frame. The loop design adds a subtle detail while the extra material in the sleeve adds strength to the two joints.
The top and seat tubes are tapered allowing for the use of a 27.2 seat post for a comfortable ride but still blending nicely into the tapered head tube and bottom bracket. Depending on the end use, the down tube, chain stays and seat stays are selected to fine tune the ride. A nice firm but forgiving race bike or a gravel bike that enables many long hours in the sadle over all sorts of surfaces.
Columbus Futura SLX Disc and Gravel Disc carbon forks are the choice for this platform. Providing a fantastic ride, feed back and handling matched with uncompromising qualiy from Columbus Tubi.
Included is an internal rear brake route, bottle bosses on down tube/seat tube, cable guide on underside of the bottom bracket if required and M6 stainless seat binder bolt. Stainless steel relief head tube logo.
There is a host of options that can be accomodated with all my frames. Some are not suited to all models but all requests are considered and carefully designed if suitable.
Single solid colour paint with masked ‘Devlin’ on downtube and logo in select places. More intricate paints scemes and multiple colours are always welcome. A quote for the extra charge will be given as part of the process in ordering your frame and we can play with layout and colours right up to day that Ben Wallis, of Wallis Paints, starts the work on your frame.
